Software Freedom Day Celebration

Software Freedom Day (SFD) is a worldwide celebration of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). The goal of this celebration is to educate the worldwide public about the benefits of using high quality FOSS in education, in government, at home, and in business — in short, everywhere! (more info http://softwarefree domday.org/ about).

Regarding to this celebration, SUN Campus Club University of Indonesia are conducting a series of event to celebrate this Software Freedom Day. This event will involve 4 open source community, there are:

1. SUN Campus Club Universitas Indonesia (SCC UI) – Organizer.
2. Java User Group Indonesia (JUGI).
3. Open Solaris User Group Indonesia (OSUGI).
4. Pendayagunaan Open Source UI (POSS UI).

And the series of event that will be held to celebrate this Software Freedom Day are:

1. Seminar

   Theme: “Talk on Open Source Technology”.
   Speaker: Representative from:

   • Java User Group Indonesia (JUGI)
   • Open Solaris User Group Indonesia (OSUGI)
   • Pendayagunaan Open Source UI (POSS UI)
